Going Beyond The Walls is an outreach minstry under Emmanuel Church inspired by the Almighty God. Members at Emmanuel Church understand and are committed to going beyond the walls of the church to spread love for one another which our Lord Jesus exemplifies and commands. So this outreach was started in 2007 by a member who's name is Sean Hicks. Being homeless as a child Sean saw first hand how poverty and hunger plaques our country and instead of ignoring the problem he decided to take action. With Divine direction Going Beyond The Walls began to partner with local churches, businesses, and other outreach programs to feed and clothe the less fortunate. Going Beyond The Walls is not just a program but a process of eliminating hunger and despair here in Oregon. So join in on the fight!
